Honestly, how is it that November is more than half over ALREADY!? This year is running away from me.
I loathe how my iPod headphones are always getting tangled up. I don't carry it around with me as much these days, but oh, how useful this would have been for my European adventure!
You know how I've been saving food packaging? This blogger uses it to corral the junk in her drawers. Nice! If you don't like the plain packaging look, you can always cover with pretty fabric.
One day, I will organise my sewing area, and when I do, I'll make myself one of these. Can you imagine! Currently, all my thread gets stored in a big glass jar, and the one I want is often at the bottom. Plus, I don't have anywhere nearly as many colours as I would like. Case in point: no red thread to mend my red towel with a big rip in it.
Here's what I'm hoping is under the tree this Christmas.
I've been making my own yoghurt with a yoghurt maker for a while now, but this link has me convinced there's an even less expensive way of doing it. Hooray - food for next to nothing!
So impressed by the dedication and time poured into this cloth "match them up" book.

You are truly a gifted seamstress. I love the ear bud case and the cloth flip book. Those would both make such wonderful gifts! I'm so glad you came by my blog. I look forward to seeing what other inspiration I can glean from yours. :0)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Pam
In regards to the yoghurt, try this...
ReplyDeleteTo half a easiyo container of water add:
1 1/3 cups powdered milk
sugar to taste (we do 2 tbs for our daughter)
2 tbs yoghurt powder from the easiyo sachet (use 4 tbs if it's flavoured) we just use the plain and add fruit if we want
Lid, shake, fill with water, shake & then incubate as usual! Creamier & cheaper!
